We’re looking for someone truly special for this epic Perth based gig – a social media pro who lives & breathes socials and understands the role it plays in growing FMCG brands.  It’s a role that will work on some of the biggest and coolest booze brands in Aus including Gage Roads,  Matsos and Miller, helping us to accelerate their national growth and relevance across Australia. 

 A lot happens day to day in our business, so we would love to find a social media manager that also likes to get behind the camera from time to time and show some creative flair to create content that’s optimised for social.  GDA is a great place to work and we are looking for a talented individual who loves the technical side as well as the creative side of socials and thrives working within a fast paced, dynamic team environment.  One of our mottos is don’t die wondering! Job Description

Increase brand awareness and product sales by managing and growing the social media presence of GDA brands, across Instagram, Facebook (primary focus) & TikTok / Snapchat (future focus)

 

Core responsibilities:

•             Develop and implement brand’s social media strategy to maximise awareness, reach and engagement

•             Plan, develop and publish organic content on brand channels, aligned to the brand’s digital strategy, content pillars, campaign focuses and growth objectives in collaboration with the brand managers.

•             ¬Generate, edit and share engaging content

•             Suggest and implement new content ideas to develop brand awareness

•             Supplemental Content Creation - with a focus on short form video + lifestyle photography suited to socials

•             Write compelling copy in various brands’ tone of voice

•             Community Management – monitoring comments + messages and responding to queries promptly

•             Execution of ad hoc small paid campaigns / organic boosting

•             Monthly reporting on key performance metrics

 

•             Collaborate closely with brand managers to ensure brand consistency

•             Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media that will impact performance.

•             Contribute to the design and implementation of social media strategy to align with business goals and the broader digital strategy

Desired Skills and Experience

Min 4 years proven experience as a Social Media Manager 
•    Proven ability to work on multiple brands / with multiple brand managers concurrently 
•    Ability to successfully manage a range of accounts applying unique brand tone of voice.
•    Experience building indirect consumer brands 
•    Experience running successful paid campaigns within budget and time constraints.
•    Ability to plan, shoot (desired) and edit great creative content
•    Excellent copywriting skills
•    Creative flair – ability to spot + execute compelling brand content  
•    Solid knowledge of current and emerging social platforms and marketing channels 
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Strong Analytical Skills
