Job Description

About the Role

Good Drinks Australia is one of Australia's leading independent brewers, with a vision to be a dynamic third force in the market. As National Account Manager for BWS & Aldi, you'll own one of our most important retail partnerships, developing Joint Business Plans, driving category growth through ranging, pricing and promotional investment, and delivering against ambitious sales and profitability targets.

This role comes with full P&L ownership, cross-functional influence, and real scope to shape strategy. You'll work closely with Marketing, Category, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure flawless execution of customer plans, while building strong relationships with both the BWS team and our international brand partners.

Based in Melbourne, with the opportunity to be based in Sydney if preferred. This role suits someone who takes genuine ownership, thrives on building strong customer relationships, and knows how to turn insight into action in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Customer Relationships

  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that deliver profitable growth for both GDA and BWS
  • Build trusted relationships across all levels of the BWS commercial and category teams
  • Own day-to-day customer engagement, ensuring exceptional execution and service

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Deliver annual sales, profit and market share objectives, owning the full customer P&L
  • Develop accurate forecasts, manage trade spend and monitor ROI on promotional investment
  • Analyse sales performance to identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions

Planning & Execution

  • Lead promotional planning, range reviews and new product launch execution
  • Drive cross-functional project leadership to ensure flawless customer plan delivery

Category & Market Intelligence

  • Leverage shopper, customer and competitor insights to identify growth opportunities
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations on ranging, pricing and promotions

Partner & Commercial Leadership

  • Build strong relationships with international brand partners, ensuring execution aligns with partner strategies
  • Develop commercial investment strategies and drive Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations to influence senior customer stakeholders

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum five years' experience in FMCG account management, preferably within alcohol or grocery.
  • Proven experience managing national retail customers.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management capability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current Australian driver's licence & RSA.
