Job Description
The Opportunity
GDA's looking for a results-driven digital marketing professional to lead and shape the digital presence of our brands, with a focus on conversion-focused comms and overarching connected commerce strategy. You'll own GDA's connected commerce strategy end-to-end, driving how our portfolio shows up, converts and grows across retail media, e-commerce and digital channels.
It's a unique gig with a heavy focus on trade engagement that will play a transformative role within our business. You'll be working directly with our marketing and sales leaders and customers, with the autonomy to make things happen.

What you'll do
Connected Commerce & Strategy
Implement GDA's connected commerce and digital marketing strategy, aligned to commercial and brand objectives, including omni-channel activation
Build and execute connected commerce strategies that support NPD launches, the annual Playbook and portfolio growth across the customer landscape
Identify emerging digital, retail media and connected commerce opportunities to keep us ahead and accelerate growth
Performance marketing
Lead always-on digital performance marketing programs across retailer platforms and ultra-convenience channels
Work with our media agency to evaluate and deliver awareness-driving activity through digital and ultra-convenience channels
Deliver KPI reporting, performance analysis, test-and-learn programs and optimisation recommendations to lift ROI and campaign effectiveness
Retailer activation & partnerships
Drive retailer digital activation plans with Key Account Managers and retail partners (focus on national chains) to improve visibility, conversion and sales
Manage key customer relationships including Mixin Media, Criteo, Coles360 and independent banner digital teams
Attend joint business planning sessions with Key Account teams as required
Manage SKU Vantage, ensuring brand teams keep the virtual store updated with current packaging and creative
Data & collaboration
Manage GDA's consumer database, including maintenance and execution of database campaigns with the brand teams
Build strong cross-functional relationships across marketing, sales and external partners to deliver integrated execution and the GDA annual Playbook
Desired Skills and Experience
What sets you apart
5+ years in digital marketing, connected commerce or eCommerce within FMCG, liquor or consumer brands
Proven track record delivering connected commerce, retail media and performance marketing strategies, including EDM campaigns
Strong stakeholder management across sales, marketing, retailers and senior leadership
Commercially minded, with sharp analytical skills and a clear ROI focus
Highly collaborative, proactive and execution-focused, comfortable juggling multiple projects and stakeholders at once
Strong understanding of retail media networks, eCommerce ecosystems, digital platforms and emerging consumer trends
Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
