Job Description

 

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to turn our data into clear, reliable reporting that drives smarter commercial decisions. Based at our Palmyra brewery and reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll build and maintain the dashboards, models and queries that leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Hospitality and Finance rely on every day.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves working with data — sourcing it from multiple systems, making sense of it, automating the repetitive parts, and making sure what reaches the business is accurate, timely and easy to act on.The salary for this position ranges from $85,000 - $95,000 per year.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and improve reports and dashboards that support commercial and operational decision-making
  • Analyse data from multiple internal and external sources to identify trends, variances and actionable insights
  • Build and maintain data models and queries to support reporting requirements
  • Source and consolidate data from various systems and external providers
  • Automate routine reporting and data-collection tasks to reduce manual effort
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across all reporting outputs
  • Support regular and ad-hoc analysis for management
  • Document processes and maintain reporting tools so they stay reliable and supportable
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear deliverables
  • Apply AI and automation tools where they deliver clear value to reporting and analysis

  • Experience in a data analysis, reporting or business intelligence role
  • Proficient in SQL and Python, with working knowledge of big data querying and automation/scripting
  • Experience building reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with enterprise-level data
  • Sharp attention to detail and a genuine focus on data accuracy
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Keen to apply emerging technology to improve the efficiency and quality of reporting
