Job Description

About the role

We're looking for a driven and commercially savvy Key Account Executive to join our team in NSW. In this role, you'll be the face of Good Drinks for major retailers, wholesalers, and distribution partners — building strong relationships, growing revenue, and making sure our brands are showing up exactly where they should be.

What you'll be doing

Account Management

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail groups, independent wholesalers, banner groups, and distribution partners
  • Ensuring product availability, visibility, and compliance of promotional programs across key accounts
  • Resolving customer concerns quickly and effectively to maintain satisfaction and loyalty
  • Regularly visiting accounts to build relationships, monitor product performance, and execute merchandising strategies

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Driving sales volume through upselling and cross-selling, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Tracking and analysing sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing promotional plans in partnership with key accounts to drive consumer engagement

Market Knowledge & Insights

  • Staying across industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to keep us ahead of the pack
  • Monitoring competitor products, pricing, and promotional strategies to adjust sales tactics accordingly
  • Providing feedback to internal teams on customer preferences and emerging market trends

Product Promotion & Activation

  • Planning and executing in-store promotions, events, and tastings to boost brand awareness and drive sales
  • Actively promoting new product launches and ensuring key accounts are across features, benefits, and unique selling points
  • Managing trade marketing activities to enhance visibility and consumer interest

Coordination & Reporting

  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, and distribution teams to ensure alignment on business objectives
  • Providing regular performance updates and insights to management
  • Assisting with sales forecasting, inventory management, and product availability

Desired Skills and Experience

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within beverage, alcohol, or FMCG
  • A proven track record of hitting sales targets and managing key accounts
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Confident using CRM software, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and act on insights
  • Genuine passion for the beer and beverages industry
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across teams

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred but not essential — what matters most is your results.

Remuneration
