Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Trainee Brewer to join our production team. This is an entry point into brewing where the right person will be trained across the entire brewing process through a structured development pathway.
You will work within a team of four brewers on shift, led by an experienced Team Leader who will provide day to day mentoring and training.
The training program progresses through all key stages of brewing including:
Brewery cleaning and sanitation systems
Cellaring and fermentation management
Wort production in the brewhouse
Filtration and beer preparation for packaging
In addition to practical training on the floor, you will also receive formal industry education through the Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers (CIBD).
This is a hands on manufacturing role in a fast paced production environment. The position requires physical work, attention to detail and a strong commitment to learning.
Roster
The brewery operates on a continuous shift roster:
12 hour shifts
Rotating days and nights
Sunday night through to Friday
Equal rotation across a three week roster
Flexibility and reliability are essential.
